This is a mosaic of 9 images in the Clavius/Tycho region of the Moon. Taken at an lunar age of about 10 days. For this image I used iMerge to combine the subframes, and then used LR deconvolution in Maxim to enhance the image. I followed this with a hi-pass filtering technique using several layers in Photoshop. Finally I used an Unsharp Mask in Photoshop and some histogram tweaking. No wavelets involved!
