Canon Rebel Xt VS ML8300
This is a comparison of a 180s frame from a Canon Rebel Xt and a FLI ML8300 camera (L filter).
I converted the debayered Canon frame to B&W for the comparison.
You'll notice more hot pixels on the Canon frame, but otherwise its clear to see the Canon does pick up some faint stars as well.
Both were shot with a 200mm f/4 Newtonian.
