This is a mosaic of 15 different images I took of the moon. Each image is a combination of typically 5 individual frames. I threw out any with obviously worse seeing than the other in the set. Combined with PTAssembler and final touching up with Photoshop.

A full size version is available, but it is very large!

I also used the method described in the January 2005 "Sky and Telescope" to render an Eastern and Western view of the moon as if you were in a spaceship looking at the Moon from the side:
