(Click to enlarge) This image was taken from my backyard (approximately mag 4.5). I wanted to see if I could pull out the blue tail so I focused on taking frames with the Blue filter. I processed this image more heavily than I am normally comfortable with because the tail was so difficult to see. In the core I used Photoshop to layer a less heavily processed version of the data to show the inner core detail. Without the overlay the core of the comet would be completely white and washed out.
