(Click to enlarge) This is always a challenging object to process - this is my second attempt. Here is a link to my first attempt. For this attempt I decided on a different orientation than the first because I thought it made the presentation more striking. I made good use of some smoothing routines in the Astronomy Tools Action Set for Photoshop CS. I plan on collecting more H-alpha as well as RGB data as time allows.
